President
Heidi Monsour came to the Junior League of Martin County in the fall of 2007. As an MIT she organized the Beauty Begins Within program at PACE Center for Girls. She then served as the Public Relations Chair and LUNAFEST Chair before being nominated to the Board in 2010 as President Elect. Heidi is originally from Atlanta, GA. She studied Communications and Young Harris College and Public Relations Canterbury University. With a background in modeling and acting, Heidi has spent more than 12 years touring as a motivational speaker for teenagers and young women. Heidi enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband of 5 years, Tim, and her two sons, Noah (4) and Quinn (2).
President Elect
Donna DeMarchi has been a proud member of the Junior League of Martin County since 2004. She has enthusiastically accepted the position of President Elect. Previously Donna has served the League in many roles including Community VP, Finance VP and Advisory Chair and has participated in many League committees. Donna is a personal injury attorney with the Law Offices of Berman & Berman. Donna enjoys travel, spending time with friends and cheering on her Alma Mater, the University of Florida Gators.
Sustainer Advisor
Mary Zottoli lives in Port St Lucie, is retired from working at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in New York. She worked in the Consumer Protection Division, and before that in the Safety and Soundness Division, examining banks. Mary is married to Danny, and they have a daughter, Debbie who is married to Dan, and lives in VA with grandchildren, Matt and Emma. They have a son, Michael, who is married to Nadya, and lives in NC with their granddaughter Mia. In addition to serving as Sustainer Advisor, Mary is currently organizing the JLMC Sustainer Book Club which meets monthly. She enjoys golf and traveling to see family and friends. Mary is a volunteer with Hibiscus, both with the Guild in Martin County and with volunteering at the Hibiscus Thrift Store in Stuart. Mary volunteers once a month at the Holy Family Catholic Church Gift Shop in Port St Lucie. Mary belongs to the Ballantrae Women's Club and enjoys attending their various luncheons and trips.
 Membership VP Elizabeth Monastra joined the Junior League of Martin County in the fall of 2007, after moving to Florida with her family from Atlanta, Georgia. Becoming a member of the League has opened a host of opportunities and friendships for these new residents of this south Florida community. From the beginning of her tenure at JLMC, Elizabeth has been a member of the Pineapple Ball Committee, Arrangements Committee, Arrangements Committee Chair, Members in Training (MIT) Committee Chair and is currently on the Board of Directors as the Vice President of the Membership Council. Elizabeth has also served on the Hidden Oaks Middle School PTA Executive Board as the Membership Chair for the past three years. She is a member of the Chi Omega Treasure Coast Alumnae Chapter, as well as, the Stuart Area Panhellenic Association. She lives in Palm City with her husband, Jim, and their daughters; Jacquelyn, 19, and Jillian, 15. Jacquelyn attends Florida State University and is a graduate of Martin County High School, and Jillian currently attends Martin County High School. Elizabeth hails from Texas and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University.
Recording Secretary
Emily Gallo is originally from North Carolina. She moved back to Stuart in 2003 and joined the Junior League of Martin County in 2008. Emily earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC and a master’s degree in school counseling from Florida Atlantic University. She works as the school counselor at J.D. Parker Elementary School in Stuart. Within the Junior League of Martin County, Emily has served as a member of the Done in a Day committee and the Corresponding Secretary. When not working or participating in JLMC activities, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends, serving as the president of the Kappa Delta Alumnae Association of Palm Beach County, attending Stuart Panhellenic Association events, traveling, reading and doing needlepoint projects.
Finance VP
A native New Yorker, Lorraine Ferina moved to Florida 32 years ago, and considers herself a true Floridian. Lorraine has been in the Junior League of Martin County since 1999. She has served on many committees and has held several board positions prior to this year’s term as Finance VP. She has been recognized as Super Leaguer in the past and was awarded the JLMC Community Service Award in 2010. Lorraine and her husband, Anthony, live on Hutchinson Island. They have been married 33 years, have 2 grown daughters, Danielle and Valentin and 1 grand-daughter, Isabella. When not working for The Village of Tequesta in their Customer Service/Water Service Department or volunteering for JLMC, Lorraine enjoys reading, going to the beach and being with friends.
Community VP Kathy Creswell has been a member of the JLMC since 2003 and is currently serving as the VP of the Community Council. In addition, she has served on many committees such as the Pineapple Ball, Children’s Museum and Kids in the Kitchen. Kathy is also a Past President of the JLMC. She attended the University of Florida and obtained her Masters degree from Florida Atlantic University. She has been married to John for 17 years and has 3 children, Christopher (24), Gabrielle (15) and Brianna (11). She is a Kindergarten teacher at Hobe Sound Elementary where she was the Teacher of the Year for 2010-2011. She enjoys all Florida Gator activities (especially Gator Football). Kathy has enjoyed the many friendships and community involvement opportunities that the Junior League of Martin County has provided.
Communications VP
Joann Gallagher has been an active member of the Junior League since 2009 and for the past two years has served as the DIAD chair. It has been a rewarding and priviledge to volunteer alongside other women who care deeply about the community that we live in. She is originally from New York and moved to Martin County in 2003. Joann graduated with a BS from New York Institute of Technology with a degree in Hotel Restaurant Management. She enjoys traveling and volunteering whenever she can! Joann is married to Bob for 15 years and they have a beautiful daughter, Lilley age 11.
The Junior League of Martin County serves Martin County and St Lucie County and encompasses the following: Stuart, Hobe Sound, Tequesta, Palm City, Port Salerno, Sewalls Point, Jensen Beach, Indiantown, White City, Hutchinson Island, Ft. Pierce, Port St Lucie and parts of Okeechobee.
